General Ledger Accountant (US)
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting or general ledger functions.
• Strong expertise in Advanced Excel (PowerPivot, Power Query, Lookups, Pivot Tables)
• Ability to handle large volumes of financial data across multiple sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proven ability to identify issues and drive them to resolution.
Responsibilities
• Manage and support Month-End Close processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including amortization and accruals.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and subledger reconciliations.
• Analyse large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, discrepancies, or inconsistencies.
• Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies and ensure proper follow-up actions.
• Provide insights and recommend action plans based on data analysis.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance in financial records and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
