PMO Manager
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in project management, PMO leadership, or program management roles.
3+ years of experience managing enterprise PMO functions or large project portfolios.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
Experience managing cross-functional enterprise transformation initiatives.
Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent analytical, reporting, presentation, and communication abilities.
Experience with PMO tools, project tracking systems, and portfolio management platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or related project management certification.
Experience within insurance, claims management, risk management, consulting, or professional services industries.
Familiarity with enterprise claims management platforms and operational workflows.
Experience supporting global or multi-region project delivery environments.
Knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity initiatives, and digital transformation programs.
Exposure to cloud migration, automation, analytics, or operational modernization projects.
Experience with enterprise reporting and dashboard tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Jira.
Responsibilities
PMO Governance & Portfolio Management
Establish and maintain enterprise PMO governance frameworks, methodologies, standards, and best practices.
Manage project portfolios, prioritization frameworks, resource allocation, and delivery tracking.
Define project governance structures, reporting standards, escalation processes, and compliance controls.
Monitor project health, risks, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and business outcomes across multiple initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement in project execution, governance maturity, and operational efficiency.
Program & Project Delivery
Lead strategic enterprise initiatives including digital transformation, claims management modernization, operational optimization, and technology deployment programs.
Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle management from initiation through execution and closure.
Ensure alignment between business objectives, operational priorities, and project deliverables.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders across global locations.
Facilitate executive steering committee meetings, project reviews, and governance checkpoints.
Operational & Technology Transformation
Support enterprise modernization initiatives involving claims management systems, workflow automation, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and operational platforms.
Partner with IT and business leaders to improve project delivery processes and operational effectiveness.
Drive PMO support for enterprise applications, infrastructure upgrades, automation programs, and process improvement initiatives.
Assist with implementation of KPI dashboards, reporting tools, and portfolio analytics capabilities.
Risk, Compliance & Financial Oversight
Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, compliance requirements, and mitigation strategies.
Monitor project budgets, forecasts, vendor contracts, and financial performance metrics.
Ensure adherence to organizational governance standards, audit requirements, and operational controls.
Support business continuity, cybersecurity, and operational resilience initiatives where applicable.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
Build strong relationships with executive leadership, regional teams, and business stakeholders.
Mentor project managers, coordinators, and delivery teams on PMO standards and project methodologies.
Provide leadership in change management, organizational communication, and stakeholder engagement activities.
