Business Analyst – Data

Required Qualifications

Total Experience: 6 – 8 years

• Experience as a Business Analyst within Data & Analyst, Business Intelligence or Information Management.
• Strong requirements gathering and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience working between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Understanding of reporting and analytics solutions.
• Experience documenting business processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing.
• Understanding of relational databases and data concepts.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience within a global organisation.
• Understanding of Data Governance principles.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI or similar analytics platforms.
• Experience working with ERP, CRM and operational business systems.
• Knowledge of SQL for data investigation.
• Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira or similar backlog management tools.
• Understanding of API-based integrations and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:  Business Systems Collaboration
• Work closely with Business Systems Specialists, Product Owners and System Administrators.
• Develop an understanding of operational systems including their processes, workflows and data structures.
• Identify where required data resides across business applications.
• Understand upstream and downstream system dependencies.
• Support data mapping exercises between source systems and analytics platforms.
• Help resolve data quality or process issues through collaboration with system owners.
